  14. Amazing is a series of screen savers where you experience a 
  15. variety of incredibly wonderful views in or not in the world.  
  16. It provides not only animations but also sound effects.  A 
  17. major difference between Amazing and other screen savers is that 
  18. Amazing is designed from the point of art - It is a life art! 
  19. In this park, Lakes, You will explore various views under
  20. sunset. Enjoy it!

  23.  The SETUP.EXE will copy five files into your windows directory:

  25.  az_lk.src  -- The main executable file of Amazing - Lakes;
  26.  az_lk.txt  -- Documentation file;

  50. Savervisor(V3.0) is a Screen Saver and Wall Paper Manager packed 
  51. with Amazing. It provides following functions:
  52.  
  53.   - It appears as an icon that allows you launch a screen saver
  54.     instantly by a single click of RIGHT mouse button. Note: You
  55.     have to select a saver in Savervisor's setup screen in order
  56.     to have Savervisor launch when clicking at its icon with RIGHT
  57.     mouse button.
  58.  
  59.   - It allows you specify the sensitive areas where you can click
  60.     the RIGHT mouse button to launch a saver instantly.
  61.  
  62.   - It provide saver scheduling capability.  That is, it allows
  63.     you specify what saver to be activate at a specified hour
  64.     through a week.  It also allows you switch savers through
  65.     all the savers in your Windows directory and specify switchng
  66.     period.

  68.   - It can be run in a INVISIBLE mode. With this great feature,
  69.     you can just put it into Windows Startup group in Program 
  70.     Manager and forget it: It will take care all the management 
  71.     tasks while you never realize it is working for you!

  73.   - It can be set to "Always on top" to increase your
  74.     accessibility to its features.

  76.   - It can display(illustrate) all the screen savers in your
  77.     Windows directory in different styles(ONCE, CIRCLE, and RANDOM).

  79.   - It works as the saver section of Windows Desktop
  80.     allowing you select, setup, and test a screen saver from
  81.     within its setup screen.

  83.   - It provides a very strong wall paper management capability.

  85.     First, it allows you to specify any BMP files as your
  86.     Wallpaper from anywhere of your file system(including hard,
  87.     network, and CD drives) in a particular hour through a week.

  89.     Secondly, it allows you schedule BMP files as your 
  90.     Wallpaper by specifying switching period through your
  91.     file system.

  94.     Finally, it can "walk" you through the entire file system
  95.     (including hard, network, and CD drives).  That is, it
  96.     displays all the BMP files in your file system one after 
  97.     another as wall paper - You can see exactly how the BMP file 
  98.     looks as a Wallpaper on your screen instead of a single BMP 
  99.     image(specially, when Tile function is set). You can choose 
  100.     from either automatic or clicking to switch images when BMP is 
  101.     illustrated.

  107. How to use Savervisor:
  108.  
  109.   - There are at least three ways to use it:
  110.       1). Always running and INVISIBLE.  You can set its running
  111.           mode into INVISIBLE and put it into Startup group of 
  112.           Windows Program Manager so that Savervisor is launched 
  113.           automatically when you start your Windows.  In this way, 
  114.           Savervisor will work in background - You will never see 
  115.           it while it is working for you: carrying out all the tasks 
  116.           according to you Saver schedule and Wallpaper
  117.           schedule, launching savers instantly when you click the
  118.           RIGHT mouse button at the area you specify.

  121.       2). Always running but visible. In this way, you can access
  122.           setup screen of Savervisor by a double click at its 
  123.           running icon#. For easy access, you can set it ALWAYS ON TOP.
  124.       3). Use it to setup you wall paper or select a screen saver
  125.           and turn it off after setup.

  127.   - After Launching Savervisor from Program Manager, You will see
  128.     an animation icon at the top left corner of your screen if
  129.     it is set to visible mode. Note: But you will see nothing
  130.     if it is set to INVISIBLE mode.  In this case, You can
  131.     launch Savervisor one more time if you like to bring up
  132.     its setup screen in order to turn it into visible mode or
  133.     change setting of Savervisor. After you launch it second
  134.     time, the running icon will appear so that you can double
  135.     click at it to bring up the setup screen.

  137.    - To access Savervisor's setup screen, you need to double
  138.      click at the running icon.
  139.  
  140.    - You must bring up the setup screen of Savervisor in order
  141.      to turn it off.
  142.  
  143.    - Clicking the RIGHT mouse button on the Savervisor icon or
  144.      any sensitive areas that you specify will enable the 
  145.      current screen saver in Windows Desktop and selecting any 
  146.      screen saver in the setup screen of Savervisor has the some 
  147.      effect of selecting a saver in Windows Desktop.

  149. The setup.exe will allow you to specify the target directory
  150. where the Savervisor will reside and create a group for Savervisor in
  151. Program Manager.  It will copy following files into the target directory:
  152.  
  153.   saverv.exe - Savervisor;
  154.   readme.txt - this file;
  155.   saverv.txt - the same as this file but used by setup screen of 
  156.                Savervisor;
  157.   regist.wav - WAV used to setup screen;
  158.   utility1.dll - an utility required by Savervisor.

  162.  Why use Savervisor with Amazing?
  163.    There are at least two reasons to use Savervisor with Amazing:
  164.       1). Savervisor enable you to launch Amazing instantly by a
  165.           single RIGHT mouse button click.
  166.       2). Savervisor provides schedule system which allows you
  167.           arrange your favorite savers and wallpaper in your style.
  168.       3). Its INVISIBLE feature allows you to "forget " it while
  169.           it is working for you.

  175. TroubleShooting:
  176.     -  Q: I have a multimedia system, with .WAV capability, and
  177.           in fact, 
  178.           I hear .WAV files with most every application.  
  179.           Why can I NOT hear sounds with your screen saver?  
  180.           (The Sounds option is grayed out, and I cannot check
  181.            it.)
  182.        A: The Saver disables Sound option if it does not detect a
  183.           sound device that it knows. You can enforce it accepts
  184.           you sound system by following steps:
  185.               1). disable (turn off) the saver;
  186.               2). open (double click at icon of) file            
  187.  
  188.                   c:\windows\az_lk.ini
  189.                   (assuming c:\windows is your Windows directory)
  190.                    in your windows File Manager;
  191.               3). change 
  192.                       EnforceSoundOn= 0
  193.                   into
  194.                       EnforceSoundOn= 1
  195.               4). save and close the file;       
  196.               5.) bring up the setup screen of the saver;
  197.               6). check (enable) field "Sound On";
